Aiming high

BNY Mellon is a leading global provider of investment management products and services. And like all big companies they’re made up of thousands of people who help them retain this status. When they developed a new Global Talent Strategy they wanted to share this with the entire organisation. Initially the plan was just to launch the programme to the HR team, before cascading to the individual managers of their teams. Ultimately they wanted to help their people achieve higher levels of performance and give them control of their own development.

Climbing together

The programme gave each employee access to over 1,500 different options, including four global regions, six development offerings, and even individual training. It was all fairly complex and we didn’t want this to get in the way – so here’s what we did.

We found ways to promote the presentation in a self-contained environment by incorporating interactive touch points. Along with this we helped employees explore their options in their own time with a specially designed Flash tool.

The look, feel and layout that we created were both intuitive and appealing, reflecting the qualities they wanted to develop in their employees. And to ensure the content stayed fresh and relevant, we gave BNY total control so it could be updated and localised.
