Last Friday, we held a charity auction to raise funds for people affected by the earthquake in Haiti. The auction was a great success, in no small part due to the quality of lots that were available and the generosity of our clients and suppliers who donated lots.
On the night, we used the prizes to run two activities: an auction and a raffle. In addition, spurred on by the boisterous nature of the bidding, one of our Leadership team, Alistair, also pledged to swim across the canal outside our offices (an event which took place on Monday afternoon).
With the help of our sister companies, Wolff Olins and Doremus, we raised £1,378 in the Auction plus £356 in the raffle and a further £645 for the swim, which all together added up to £2,379. This will be matched by Omnicom making a grand total of £4,758 for Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, which is fantastic news!
Whilst some of our donors want to remain anonymous, our heartfelt thanks goes out to all who supported the event. We have listed below some of those who donated goods. And just for fun, we have included the video of Alastair swimming the canal!
