Winning again (and again)

Hosted in the elegant surroundings of The Landmark Hotel, last Thursday’s CIPD Recruitment Marketing Awards saw us heading up on stage not once, but twice. There was much rejoicing as we grabbed the gong for Best Internal Recruitment Communication for the Barclay ERS campaign along with a long-awaited Best Graduate Recruitment Initiative award for KPMG’s ‘Straight Talking’ graduate campaign.

With regards to the work itself, judges were unanimous in praise. The Barclays campaign was called “a perfect example of employee referral in one of the most hotly-contested categories”, while KPMG’s graduate campaign was labelled “the comprehensive winner; fresh and funny”. And, as we toasted both big wins, one more pleasant surprise waited in the wings – our award-winning Head of Copy hotfooted his way across town to join the party just before the carriages were called. Now that’s what we call commitment to the cause!
