So what's the story?
At the 20th anniversary of the RAD awards on the 28th January, Reed Business Information the event organisers promised a night to remember. Who are we to disagree? With ten nominations for three different clients, more than any other agency, we had high hopes for the evening and weren’t disappointed.
We stumbled home clutching two awards for Hertfordshire Constabulary – one for Best Online Marketing and the other for Best Outdoor and Ambient. At the same time, KPMG and STA Travel came tantalisingly close for memorable and innovative work in graduate marketing and internal communications respectively.
These awards and nominations are the latest elements to gain industry recognition in our long-running campaign to recruit Specials for Herts. Launched in March 2008, the campaign which asks candidates ‘Where would you put yourself?’ has now been recognised in seven separate categories in the industry’s most high-profile award ceremonies. These include Best Audio, Best Outdoor, Best Online Marketing, Best Social Media, Best Campaign and most gratifyingly, Most Effective at last year’s CIPD awards in which it also won the Grand Prix.
